Dr. Afrah AlAdwani
- Dr. Afrah is the Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Unit at Jaber AlAhmad Hospital.
- She holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde, Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, UK.
- She also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Researcher Professional Development (PG Cert RPD) from the same institution.
- In addition to her leadership role, she is an active member of the Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Team at Jaber AlAhmad Hospital, contributing to patient-centered oncology care.
Dr. Ahmad Salman
- Dr. Ahmad Salman is Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health Practice, College of Public Health, Kuwait University
- He holds a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the University of York, UK.
- Dr Ahmad is an expert in cardiovascular health and a public health policy advisor, shaping key health strategies in Kuwait.
- He has conducted extensive research in: Cardiovascular health, Public health, and Sustainable development
- He is a published author in peer-reviewed journals, a frequent international conference presenter, and a recipient of multiple awards for contributions to public health.
- His professional memberships include: American Heart Association and European Society of Cardiology

Dr. Anas Hamad
- Dr. Anas is currently the Director of the Pharmacy Department at Qatar’s National Center for Cancer Care & Research and Head of the Medication Safety & Quality Center at Hamad Medical Corporation’s Pharmacy Executive Office.
- He also holds a position at Qatar University as a Clinical Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy & Practice.
- In addition, he chairs the Standing Committee on Medication Services at the Qatar Red Crescent Society and serves as the Vice President & Director of the ISPOR Qatar Chapter.
- Dr. Anas completed his BSc in Pharmacy at the University of Jordan, followed by an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy, International Practice & Policy from the University of London, and a PhD in Clinical Practice & Medication Use from King’s College London.
- He also obtained an Executive Diploma in Health Services Management from GSM London and completed the Executive Leaders Program with Qatar Leadership Centre.
- An active researcher, Dr. Anas has several publications and conference presentations.
- He serves as an Editorial Board Member at the International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and as a Review Editor at Frontiers in Oncology.
- He is a frequent speaker at both local and international conferences. Additionally, he is a member of HMC’s and QU’s Institutional Review Boards and the MOPH National Clinical Research Review Committee.
Dr. Bashayer AlMarshad
- Bashayer Almarshad is a Senior Clinical Pharmacist with over six years of experience in direct patient care.
- She currently works at AlFarwaniya Hospital, specializing in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
- She is an active contributor to several key healthcare initiatives, including the DVT Prophylaxis Committee, Antibiotic Stewardship Program, and Continuous Learning Committee.
- Her work in DVT protocol development earned recognition with a Local Excellence Award in Kuwait.
- She has played a pivotal role in developing evidence-based protocols that have improved medication safety and treatment strategies, including a nationally adopted Vancomycin dosing protocol for dialysis patients.
- As Head of the Training Center at AlFarwaniya Hospital, she is responsible for training newly employed clinical pharmacists and mentoring Pharm D students from Kuwait University.
- She has delivered numerous lectures and training sessions to healthcare professionals on patient-centered care, updates in internal medicine and nephrology, and the evolving role of clinical pharmacists.
- A respected member of the Clinical Pharmacy Development Committee at the Ministry of Health, she actively contributes to shaping national pharmacy policies.
- Her research and expertise have led to published work, including her article on the Role of Clinical Pharmacists in Stevens-Johnson Syndrome and multiple clinical practice protocols.

Dr. Donia Albastaki
- Dr AlBastaki is the Head of Drug Registration Department and Acting Director of Pharmaceutical and Herbal Medicine Registration and Control Administration, Ministry of Health.
- She has a twenty years working experience in the pharmaceutical field; area of expertise are regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance.
- She Contributed to the development of drug regulatory framework and policies in Kuwait and GCC.
- She is responsible of registration and approval of a various pharmaceutical and health products, in addition to laboratory analysis of medical products, and monitoring post marketing drugs safety and efficacy.
- She has a 17 years’ experience in GMP inspection through which she inspected several international, regional and local pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.
- She is a Member of Gulf Health Council Central Drug Registration Committee and contributed to setting the GCC Guidelines for Drug Registration as well as Stability, Bioequivalence and PIL GCC guidelines and others.
- She’s a member of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance and Kuwait deputy focal point for Uppsala Monitoring Center /WHO Collaborating Center for International Drug Monitoring.
- She was also assigned as Kuwait focal point with the League of Arab states in the field of Pharmacy and drugs and participated in the development of the Arab Bioequivalence Guidelines.

Dr. Eman Abahussain
- Dr. Abahussain is a renowned pharmacy educator and healthcare leader with over 25 years of experience in pharmacy practice, education, and public health initiatives.
- She currently serves as the Director of Dahia Abdullah Al-Salem Healthy City, where she played a key role in achieving WHO accreditation in 2022.
- She holds a PhD in Pharmacy from Cardiff University, with research focusing on dyspeptic patient management and H. pylori infection in Kuwait.
- Dr. Abahussain has spent many years shaping pharmacy education as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Kuwait University, teaching pharmaceutical care, research methods, and ethics.
- Beyond academia, she has led national initiatives on medication safety, environmental health, and poisoning prevention, making a significant impact on public health.
- She is also a prolific author and researcher, with several books and peer-reviewed publications on pharmacy law, patient safety, and healthcare policies.
- Her contributions have been recognized through prestigious awards, including the Sheikh Rashid Bin Hamid Award for her work on medication poisoning in children.
- Dr. Abahussain is a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences, sharing insights on pharmaceutical waste management, drug safety, and community health.

Dr. Ghazwa B. Korayem
- Dr. Ghazwa B. Korayem works as a Consultant to the General Secretariat at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and Director of the Office of Councils and Committees.
- She is also an Associate Professor at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) College of Pharmacy, bringing extensive expertise in clinical pharmacy, internal medicine, and healthcare education.
- Dr. Korayem earned her Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from King Saud University and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Nova Southeastern University, USA. She completed her PGY-1 and PGY-2 training in internal medicine at the University of Arizona Medical Center and is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
- Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in healthcare education from Texas A&M University.
- Her leadership experience includes serving as Vice Dean (2017) and later Acting Dean of PNU’s College of Pharmacy until 2019. She is also a Consultant Internal Medicine Pharmacist at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital.
- At SCFHS, Dr. Korayem plays a key role in healthcare education and professional development, chairing the Internal Medicine Residency Examination Committee and serving on the Saudi Pharmacy Licensing Exam Committee. Her contributions to pharmacy education, clinical practice, and healthcare policy continue to shape the future of the profession in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Homood Al Sobeai
- Dr. Homood Al Sobeai holds the position of Associate Professor and serves as the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University.
- He obtained his bachelor's degree from the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, in 2009. Subsequently, he pursued and earned a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences with an emphasis on molecular medicine and pharmacogenomics at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, in 2017.
- Dr. Sobeai's journey embodies a fervent commitment to transforming the graduate program environment and advancing scientific research within the college as he established numerous initiatives to standardize graduate programs in the Pharmacology and Toxicology department, where he served as programs director for three years, many of which have been extrapolated to all graduate programs at the college.
- Under Dr. Sobeai's leadership, the vice deanship executed over 50 projects, many of which aimed to improve the quality of graduate programs and establish new programs aligned with the market need and vision 2030.

Dr. Hussain Salem Alshamari.
- Dr.Hussain Alshamari, BSc, MD, KBCM is Senior Specialist in Clinical Microbiology
- Dr.Alshamari is a graduate of Faculty of Medicine, Arabian Gulf University - Kingdom of Bahrain, and Kuwait Board of Clinical Microbiology (KBCM).
- Currently working at Sabah Al-Ahmad Urology Center (SAUC) as a full time clinical microbiologist, and he is the Head of Amtimicrobial Resistace (AMR) unit at Kuwait Center For Disease Prevention & Control ( Kuwait CDC ).
- He is the Head of Antimicrobial stewardship program at SAUC, and member of European Society of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases ( ESCMID ) Study Group for Antimicrobial Stewardship ( ESGAP ).
- He also has established Al-Sabah Hospital Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
- In addition, he is Co-Leading a local Working Group on Antimicrobial Lock Therapy (ALT) in Collaboration with Kuwait Pharmaceutical Association (KuPha).
- His main interests include Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs, Medical Education, Molecular Testing, Diagnosis and Management of MDR Infections and Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

Dr. Ibrahim Alhomoud
- Dr. Ibrahim Alhomoud is an Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Qassim University, and serves as the Head of the Training Unit.
- He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from MCPHS University in Boston, USA, followed by postgraduate training at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where he completed a PGY-1
- residency, a PGY-2 residency in Ambulatory Care, and a fellowship specializing in cardiometabolic diseases.
- Dr. Alhomoud’s professional interests focus on cardiometabolic conditions, with a
- particular emphasis on obesity management.
- He has authored several research articles related to obesity and its impact on health outcomes.
- His academic and clinical contributions highlight his dedication to advancing the field of cardiometabolic care through research, education, and training.

Dr. Maitham Husain.
- Dr. Husain was appointed as director of planning and health development since Feb. 2020 at MOH, Kuwait which oversees the national health projects. He had contributed to the development of health system research unit, health policy unit, and health financing unit at the directorate.
- As co-director of KIMS/Royal College Collaborative since 2016, Dr. Husain overseas the collaborative with the Royal College of Physician and Surgeon of Canada in the domains of program review and accreditation, faculty development and examinations to improve the postgraduate medical education in Kuwait.
- Dr. Husain is a consultant in pediatric medicine, allergy, and clinical immunology with special interest in stem cell therapy. He had completed his residency training in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital, McMaster University and subspecialized in allergy, immunology, and stem cell therapy at the Hospital for Sick Children’s at the University of Toronto.
- Dr. Husain main areas of expertise is quality improvement in postgraduate institution and training programs.
- Dr. Husain, worked as a consultant for the National Bureau of Accreditation and Quality of Higher Education in setting the standards of accreditation for basic medical education in Kuwait.
- He also a strong advocate of patient safety and quality training in residency education and professional development.
- Dr. Husain, worked with the National Accreditation Program for Healthcare at Ministry of Health in collaborative with Accreditation Canada International to improve quality of healthcare delivery via accreditation and standard setting. He is also an Accreditation Canada Internal Surveyor since 2018.
- Dr. Husain past experiences included hospital management as director of NBK Children’s hospital from May 2017 to Aug. 2019, and CEO of KACCH & BACCH a non-for-profit organization for child life program in hospitals and pediatric palliative care hospice from Feb. 2020 to May 2023. In addition, Dr. Husain was the director of Quality and Accreditation Affairs at KIMS from March 2013 to March 2021.

Dr. Raj Singh Badhan
- Dr. Badhan is an Associate Professor of Pharmacokinetics at Aston University, Birmingham, UK. With over 20 years of experience, he has dedicated his career to advancing pharmacokinetics research and education, focusing on optimizing drug therapies for special populations
- Dr. Badhan holds an MPharm (Hons) and a PhD in Pharmacokinetics, complemented by four years of post-doctoral research at the renowned Centre for Applied Pharmacokinetics Research, University of Manchester.
- His expertise lies in applying advanced pharmacokinetic modeling to solve complex clinical and pre-clinical challenges, with a strong commitment to improving therapeutic outcomes for vulnerable populations.
- Since joining Aston University in 2010, Dr. Badhan has played a pivotal role in pharmacy education as Director of the MSc Pharmacokinetics program and Admissions Lead for the MPharm program.
- Dr. Badhan’s research is internationally recognized in precision dosing and virtual clinical trials. His work has influenced drug regimen optimization for pediatric and pregnant patients in low-resource settings and contributed to regulatory drug approvals and the development of age-appropriate formulations.
- He is actively involved in professional organizations, including the European Pediatric Formulation Initiative and the Controlled Release Society, and serves on the expert panel of the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
- Beyond academia, Dr. Badhan fosters collaboration in global health as the founder and convener of the West Midlands Pharmacokinetics Network, a platform dedicated to advancing pharmacokinetics in clinical practice.

Dr. Reem Al-Eessa
- Dr. AlEssa completed a PhD Pharmaceutical Regulations, MBA General and Strategic Management, MSc Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiolog, and a BSc Pharmacy (Hons)
- Her areas of experience are, Drug Regulatory Approval system, Community Pharmacy, GMP, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacy Inspections, and pharmacy licensing system
- Currently she is the Director of Drug Inspection Administration, Commissioned, and Pharmacovigilance Superintendent
- Previously she was the Head of Registration Department, Drug registration and release superintendent, and Coordination and development superintendent
Dr. Sarah Almanie
- Dr. Sarah Almanie is an Assistant Professor at Kuwait University since 2018, specializing in pharmacoeconomics.
- She holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Pharmacoeconomics from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
- She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kuwait University.
- Her areas of expertise include:
- Health outcomes research
- Healthcare policy development
- Cost analysis
- Value-based healthcare systems
- Dr Sarah is a dedicated to facilitating discussions on healthcare efficiency, policy, and patient-centered care through both teaching and research.
Dr. Sarah AlSharqawi
- Sarah Alsharqawi is a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Intensive Care Units (ICU) at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital in Kuwait.
- She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) in 2016 and subsequently obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in 2018, as part of the inaugural PharmD cohort in Kuwait.
- With a strong focus on infectious diseases and critical illness management, she plays an integral role in multidisciplinary ICU rounds, contributing her expertise to optimize pharmacotherapy and improve patient outcomes.
- She has been instrumental in developing multiple ICU protocols and is an active member of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, where she contributed to the creation of an antimicrobial guide to enhance antibiotic stewardship.
- Sarah is a regular speaker at scientific meetings, presenting on key topics in critical care pharmacy and antimicrobial optimization.
- Since 2021, she has served as a preceptor for PharmD students at Kuwait University, mentoring and training the next generation of clinical pharmacists.

Josephine Falade
- Josephine is an Associate Professor and a registered UK pharmacist, with extensive experience across a wide range of pharmacy settings.
- She has worked in some of London’s most renowned teaching hospitals, including Barts Health, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, as well as within a Clinical Commissioning Group/Integrated Care Board.
- Her clinical focus is in diabetes and endocrinology, and she previously served as a Highly Specialist Pharmacist for Diabetes, Metabolism, and Endocrinology at Barts and The London NHS Trust.
- Josephine’s journey with the UCL School of Pharmacy began in 2007 as a Clinical Placement Tutor and became a full-time member of staff in 2016.
- She has held several leadership roles at UCL, including:
- Lead Pharmacist for Clinical Trials, Research and Development, Medicines Information, and Education and Training
- Programme Lead for the MSc Clinical Pharmacy, International Practice and Policy since 2018
- Creator of the extended version of this program: MSc Clinical Pharmacy, International Practice and Policy with Extended Placement
- Josephine is passionate about advancing global clinical pharmacy practice by empowering pharmacists with the clinical and leadership skills needed to create meaningful change.
Ph. Abdulmohsin Marghalani
- Abdulmohsin graduated from Australia with a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 2010 and later earned a Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy from Strathclyde University, UK.
- He further expanded his expertise by obtaining an MBA in 2020 from Prince Mohammad bin Salman College.
- His career journey began in retail pharmacy in Australia, before returning to Saudi Arabia to join the private sector and later King Abdullah Medical City in 2012, where he led the Outpatient Pharmacy until 2016.
- He then took on the role of Director of Pharmacy at Security Forces Hospital, Makkah, before moving to King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC) Jeddah in 2018, where he became Director of Pharmacy in 2020.
- Abdulmohsin has also completed a Diploma in Pharmacy Leadership Academy by the ASHP Foundation.
- His passion extends beyond pharmacy management to entrepreneurship and mobile health (mHealth) innovation.

Ph. Adel Alsalem
- Adel holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Liverpool John Moores University, UK, earned in 1997.
- He is also certified as a Health Care Accreditation Professional (Surveyor) by Accreditation Canada, underscoring his strong commitment to healthcare quality and standards.
- His professional journey began at Farwaniya Hospital Pharmacy (1997–1998) and continued in the TPN unit until 2004.
- From 2004 to 2011, he served as Head of the Pharmaceutical Services Department in the Farwaniya Health Region, and then held the same position in the Jahra Health Region (2011–2018).
- He later became Director of the Drugs Inspection Administration (2018–2021) and Director of the Central Medical Store (2021–2023).
- Currently, Adel serves as the Director of the Pharmaceutical Services Administration, where he leads national efforts to enhance pharmaceutical care and system-wide operations.

Ph. Aisha Alomran
- Ph. Aisha graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Kuwait University (2006).
- She holds a High Diploma in Health Management and Quality, shifting her career from technical pharmacy roles to managerial leadership.
- She had seven years of experience in governmental polyclinics and general hospital pharmacies.
- She later on transitioned to the private sector in 2013, gaining expertise in:
- Community pharmacy management (retail & cooperative).
- Tendering, market access, and sales in the pharmaceutical & medical equipment industries.
- Currently, with 12 years of private sector experience, she is a key professional in a well-established, fast-growing medical company, contributing to healthcare innovation and accessibility.

Ph.Sara Albalushi
- Sara AlBalushi is the Director of the Pharmaceutical Care Directorate at the Directorate General of Medical Supplies, Ministry of Health – Oman.
- She graduated from the University of Strathclyde, School of Pharmacy in 1999, and later obtained her Master’s degree in 2009 from the UK.
- With over 25 years of experience in the Ministry of Health, Sara has served in various leadership roles, currently overseeing pharmaceutical care services at the national level.
- Among her key accomplishments:
- Developed national strategies for pharmaceutical care departments across all levels of healthcare.
- Established policies and procedures standardizing pharmaceutical care in tertiary, secondary, and primary care settings.
- Led efforts to align pharmacy practice with Joint Commission International (JCI) and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) standards.
- Implemented medication safety tools and techniques in collaboration with hospital-based safety officers to reduce medication errors.
- Provides professional development and career guidance for pharmacists under the national pharmaceutical care program.
- Currently, Sara is in the final year of her PhD, specializing in polypharmacy management and organizational change.

Prof. Amer M. Alanazi
- Professor Amer graduated from the U.S. with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology in 2010.
- He currently serves as Dean of the College of Pharmacy at King Saud University (KSU) and as a Consultant for the Saudi Council for Health Insurance (CCHI).
- He has over 20 years of experience in:
- Pharmaceutical R&D and innovation
- Pharmaceutical technical operations
- Business and market development
- Pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain management
- His former roles:
- Biotechnology Consultant for Riyadh Valley Company (2012).
- Vice President of Technical Operations at Tabuk Pharmaceuticals (2015–2018).
- Managing Director for the MENA region at KYBORA Emerging Markets, a U.S.-based healthcare firm.
- Amer has successfully executed numerous projects in manufacturing companies, consultancy firms, and training academies.
- He is a certified Trainer at the Saudi Digital Library (SDL) and a frequent speaker, delivering lectures and workshops at local, regional, and international conferences.
- His Leadership & Consultancy Roles:
- Headed the Risk Management Team at KSU.
- Consultant for the Saudi Electronic University, assisting in curriculum and human resource development.
- Consultant for the Vice-Rectorate of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, overseeing Riyadh Techno Valley (RTV) projects.
- Vice-Chairman of the Saudi Scientific Society of Pharmaceutical Industries.
- Committee Memberships:
- Formulary Governance Committee, Saudi Council for Health Insurance.
- Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plants & Medicines Registration Committee, Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA).
- He published over 140 peer-reviewed articles across various fields of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Currently enrolled in the Researchers Supporting Project Program and the Distinguished Scientists Fellowship Program at KSU, collaborating with top scientists worldwide.

Prof. Maitham Khajah
- Prof. Maitham Khajah is the Acting Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Kuwait University.
- He earned his B.Pharm from Kuwait University (2003) and a Ph.D. in Gastrointestinal Science & Immunology from the University of Calgary (2009).
- His research focuses on novel molecular targets for inflammatory bowel disease and endocrine resistance in breast cancer.
- He has published over 34 peer-reviewed manuscripts, three book chapters, and edited two books.
- Prof. Khajah has supervised numerous M.Sc. students and secured multiple research grants as PI and Co-I.
- His achievements include the Best Young Researcher Award (2013–2014) and the Jaber Al-Ahmad Young Researchers Award (2019–2020).
- He previously served as Head of Pharmacology and Therapeutics (2018–2022) and was promoted to Full Professor in 2022.

Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini
- Ahmad El Ouweini is currently serving as a clinical lecturer in Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. He is also a critical care clinical pharmacist and preceptor at Thumbay University Hospital, the affiliated university hospital with Gulf Medical University.
- Recently, Dr. Ahmad completed ACCP-Accredited Post-doctoral Fellowship program in Clinical Pharmacy Research with Critical Care Specialty, a 2-years joint program between Gulf Medical University and Washington State University.
- In addition, Ahmad is An American Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
- From August 2020 to August 2021, Ahmad worked as a clinical pharmacist (focusing Internal Medicine and Cardiology) in the Lebanese American University (LAU) Medical Center - Rizk Hospital. He was also a clinical lecturer and preceptor at LAU School of Pharmacy.
- Ahmad completed his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in 2019, followed by ASH-Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy residency in 2020 at the Lebanese American University (LAU) School of Pharmacy and Lebanese American University Medical Center Rizk Hospital.
- Prior to joining the LAU School of Pharmacy in 2014, Ahmad practiced as an inpatient hospital pharmacist at Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Saudi Arabia. Ahmad is currently serving as the Chair of IVPN-AR organizing committee and Leader of IVPN-Critical Care Listserv.

Dr. Bashayr Alsuwayni
- Dr. Bashayr Alsuwayni is a consultant pharmacist in ambulatory care and the program director of ambulatory care pharmacy residency in King Saud University Medical City.
- She’s a Saudi and American Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, American Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, and Certified Diabetic Educator.
- She’s passionate about volunteering work. She was one of the Saudi volunteering team organized by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center volunteering in healthcare in Za’atri Refugee Camp for Syrian refugee. In addition, she’s coordinating the KSUMC Pharmacy Volunteering Program.
- She’s interested in management of chronic diseases, preventative medicine, and mental health and their researches.

Dr. Emad Alsarraf
- Dr. Emad Alsarraf is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Kuwait University and a practicing clinical pharmacist in the Emergency Department at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital.
- Dr. Alsarraf earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University, Worcester, USA, in 2017. He then pursued extensive post-graduate training, completing a PGY-1 residency, a PGY-2 in emergency medicine, and a clinical fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
- He is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Pharmacist (BCEMP).

Dr. Khalid Ahmad Sheikh
- Dr. Sheikh holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, an MSc in Pharmaceutics from University Science Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan.
- He is also recognized as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) in the UK.
- Dr. Sheikh’s career spans over two decades, beginning in industry as a Production Manager and QA/Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist in Malaysia, followed by nearly a decade in academia at the International Medical University, Malaysia.
- Since 2010, he has been part of the UCL School of Pharmacy, where he currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics.

Ph. Bader Kharaibet
- Bader Kharaibet is a Senior Pharmacist specializing in Regulatory Affairs.
- He has over seven years of experience at the Ministry of Health, Kuwait, as a pharmaceutical products reviewer and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inspector.
- He also served as a reviewer and GMP inspector at the Gulf Health Council (GHC).
- He holds a BPharm from RCSI and an MSc in Industrial Pharmaceutics from QUB.
- He is a Certified Medical Devices Quality Management Systems Auditor (ISO 13485:2016).

Dr. Asma Alturkait
- Dr. Asma graduated from Kuwait University with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy in 2009 and later pursued an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from UCL in 2014.
- She then earned a PhD in Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Nottingham in 2021.
- She has been a pharmacist with the Ministry of Health, Kuwait, since 2009, bringing extensive experience in clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care.
- From 2021 to 2024, she served as a postdoctoral fellow at Dasman Diabetes Institute, focusing on diabetes education and clinical care research. During her time there, she led the WICKED program, an initiative designed to help adolescents with type 1 diabetes manage their condition through insulin, carbohydrate intake, ketone monitoring, and exercise.

Dr. Dalal M. Al-Taweel
- Dr. Dalal Al-Taweel, Ph.D., is an academic pharmacist with a special interest in pharmacy education, pharmaceutical care, and the rational use of medicines.
- Dr Al-Taweel is currently an Associate professor at the department of Pharmacy Practice, College of Pharmacy in Kuwait University.
- She has held the position of Vice dean of Academic and Student affairs from 2019-2023 where she co-led the transformation of the pharmacy program at the faculty to a PharmD program.
- She gained her MPharm degree from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland and her MSc in Clinical Pharmacy as well as a PhD (Pharmaceutical care) from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

Dr. Ethar Makhseed
- Dr. Ethar Makhseed is a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care and an Assistant Professor at Kuwait University's School of Pharmacy.
